For maintenance purposes, from 10:00 PM on November 10, 11, 12, and 13 until 6:00 AM on the following days, the Assergi – Colledara/San Gabriele motorway section (Gran Sasso Tunnel) will be closed to traffic, limited to the eastbound carriageway towards Teramo.
On the days and times indicated above, vehicles coming from L’Aquila/A25/Rome and heading towards Teramo must exit the A24 motorway at the Assergi junction. For long-distance journeys and heavy goods vehicles heading towards Teramo/Giulianova, we recommend using the alternative route of the A25 Torano – Pescara motorway, continuing on the A14 towards Ancona to the Giulianova/Teramo junction and, via the SS80 highway, reaching Teramo. Alternatively, we recommend exiting the A24 at the L’Aquila Est junction, taking the SS17 and SS153 (Piana di Navelli) until reaching the Bussi junction, entering the A25 motorway and continuing towards the A14 until the Giulianova junction, to reach Teramo via the SS80 highway. Please note that the SS80 to the Capannelle Pass is affected by several roadworks with possible disruption.
