After receiving the nomination as Capital of Culture, the Municipality of L’Aquila is preparing for the big event by organizing this year’s most anticipated summer event for citizens and beyond: I Cantieri dell’immaginario. It has already started and until August 6th it includes a kaleidoscope of 34 events distributed over 25 days of shows, all located between the San Bernardino steps and the Auditorium of the Park, in addition to two events scheduled in the locations of Campotosto and Villa Sant’Angelo, to pay homage together with the capital also to other centers among the most affected by the 2009 earthquake. This is an opportunity to celebrate the reconstruction process of the Community and which responds every year with thousands of visitors.
The event, organized in collaboration with the Cultural Institutions of the Territory financed by the National Fund for Live Entertainment (FNSV), sees the artistic direction once again bear the signature of the maestro Leonardo De Amicis.
